TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've worked as a special education teacher for two years and am now back at the University of Chicago, getting my Master's in Social Work (MSW). I worked in K-6 students, with mild to moderate disabilities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in building intentional relationships with my students, and I understand that I am teaching much more than just the basic content areas. I believe that students learn better when they know you have their best interest at heart and that you respect them as an individual. I try to give as much autonomy to my students as possible, allowing for choices and individual interest.
