TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a Special Education teacher from Oklahoma. This is my third year of teaching. Two years as a resource room and this year I am working with student with Autism. I have kids in grades Pre-K through 6 with a wide variety of needs. I absolutley love what I do!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands on learning that lets kids get up and move. I focus on teaching my students the skills they will need to be independent thinkers who can be successful in the regular education classroom and life.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors in Special Education and Elementary Education from a university in Oklahoma.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I wanted to share the resources I've created because I know how difficult it can be to find good materials that give kids with learning challanges the practice they need while still being engaging after multiple practices. I know how difficult it is to constantly hunt to for materials to teach a skill and how difficult it can be to manage multiple grades and subjects.
