I am in my 8th year of teaching students with special needs and just love it! I have also taught Kindergarten and sometimes miss being with the itty-bitty's all day long! I am currently working as an Education Specialist in a full inclusion district.
My students are mainstreamed into K-5 classrooms, so I'm always thinking about ways to create appropriate and meaningful modified and/or differentiated activities and lessons. I'm always striving to both address my students' IEP goals as well as keep them engaged in the general education classroom!
