TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Carrie Clark is a speech-language pathologist from Columbia, Missouri. Carrie is the owner of the Children's Speech and Language Center, a private practice speech therapy clinic which serves children ages birth-15 years. Carrie also runs the Speech and Language Kids website at www.SpeechAndLanguageKids.com which provides resources, activities, and materials to families and professionals who work with children with speech and language delays.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Carrie Clark promotes a family-oriented approach to speech therapy, which is why all products are designed with families in mind and are simple enough for busy families to do at home. SLPs will benefit from being able to share the same materials that they are working on in therapy with families as homework or extra practice.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Carrie holds her certificate of clinical competency for speech-language pathology and has received the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Award for Continuing Education (ACE award).

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Carrie received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Carrie completed her internship and clinical fellowship year through the Columbia Public Schools in Columbia, Missouri.
