TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Thank you for visiting my store! I have over 20 years experience (yikes! I feel old!) teaching speech and language to children in grades k-12. About 5 years ago I opened a private practice which now serves over 60 children. I have taught courses at the university level, spoken nationally at professional conventions, and studied at the doctoral level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Highly creative but consistent, concentrated and sequential with strict adherence to developmental hierarchies and methods that are based in research efficacy.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

The highlight of my career was when Michelle Garcia Winner asked me to speak at the Social Thinking Providers Conference in San Francisco! I guess she liked what I had to say--since then I have presented my ideas in Philadelphia and most recently was asked to speak at the New Jersey Speech and Language convention!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from William Paterson University, N.J. Doctoral studies at the City University of New York's Graduate Center
