Hi! Welcome to Speech Sprouts. I have loved being a school-based speech language pathologist working with elementary students for 17 years now! l also provide speech therapy to adults in medical settings.
My focus is on using children’s literature and rhymes to develop awesome expressive language skills, listening comprehension, literacy and articulation skills. I love hands-on, interactive activities! My products target vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, sentence structure, phonological awareness, concept development, asking and answering questions, articulation and more.

BA in Psychology and MS in Speech Language Pathology
I come from a family with a long line of teachers, and am glad to follow the family tradition of supporting education by providing speech therapy to preschool and elementary children. In addition to offering traditional speech therapy to students from Early Childhood to 4th grade, I currently teach a two hour, twice weekly group speech therapy pre-school program designed to provide intensive intervention to young children with speech and language disorders, with an emphasis on early literacy skills. We have circletime, centers, art activities, table activities and individual instruction. I love to create products that target multiple goals, and can be used in small group or classroom settings like my pre-k group. I think materials that utilize great rhymes and stories are the best and I create materials to utilize these for engaging, literacy-based therapy sessions! I use these materials in my own therapy room and hope that you will enjoy them in yours!
