I've worked as an SLP in the schools since 1995. I have worked with all ages, but the majority of my time has been with 3-12. I have worked with all types of impairments, but I do feel that I have had a great deal of experience with autism. I have also had a lot of experience with the preschool population. I love my job and I have always loved to make therapy material. I am fairly creative on the computer, so when I couldn't find materials that I wanted, I would just make them.
At this time, I do a great deal of RTI/MTSS and find myself in the classroom a lot. However, I still do pull-out for more intensive students. I also do quick pull-out with artic kids 5-10 minutes of intensive drilling.
I am a national trainer of the TLC - Lively Letters Reading program.
I attended Michigan State University where I received my undergraduate degree. I went to Cleveland State University to received my Masters in Speech Language Pathology.
