I am a licensed speech-language pathologist with experience working with preschool through high school aged students in NY. I have been practicing since 2007. I have been on TpT since 2012. I work with students with articulation, language, and pragmatic goals. **Author of the blog sepeechtimefun.com**
I believe in individualized instruction, multisensory approaches, and using visual aids to assist in meeting students' goals. Students benefit from fun and motivating instructional materials. By breaking down tricky concepts and teaching students strategies, it will allow them to carry them over and use them outside the speech therapy room. My expertise is breaking down higher level thinking skills so students can be successful! **I provide engaging activities that incorporate compensatory strategies for students to help reduce stress on a busy SLP!**
I have been featured on several other blogs and websites. I have also been named one of ASHA's "The Best Speech-Language Pathologist Blogs from ‘A to Z’". I have written two guest blog posts for the ASHA Leader Blog. I have also been featured in the ASHA Leader Blogjam section. I have done several webinars and even presented at the ASHA convention in 2016. To see where I have been featured and my PD history, visit my blog!
I have a BA in communicative disorders and sciences from the University at Buffalo and a MS in speech-language pathology from Adelphi University. I am certified through ASHA. I also have a NYS teaching certification for speech-language pathology (TSSLD).
