I am a licensed speech-language pathologist with experience working with preschool through high school aged students. I have been practicing since 2007. I have been on TpT since 2012. I work with students with articulation, language, and pragmatic goals. **Author of the blog sepeechtimefun.com**
I work with students individually and in group therapy. I currently work in a public school but have previous experience working in clinic and home care settings. I believe in individualized instruction, multisensory approaches, and using visual aids to assist in meeting students' goals. Students benefit from fun and motivating instructional materials. **I provide engaging activities that incorporate compensatory strategies for students to help reduce stress on a busy SLP!**
I have been featured on several other blogs and websites. I have also been named one of ASHA's "The Best Speech-Language Pathologist Blogs from ‘A to Z’". I have written two guest blog posts for the ASHA Leader Blog. I have also been featured in the ASHA Leader Blogjam section. To see where I have been featured, visit my blog!
I have a BA in communicative disorders and sciences and a MS in speech-language pathology. I am certified through ASHA. I also have a NYS teaching certification for speech-language pathology.
