I am a Speech-Language Therapist working in private practice in Pretoria, South Africa. I previously worked at a government hospital and as a locum in a private practice. I started my own practice in November 2010. I have a special interest in language delays, autism and aac, but I I also treat patients with a wide variety of other difficulties (e.g. articulation disorder, phonological processes, voice disorder, reading and spelling difficulties, auditory processing disorders, and fluency disorders).
I believe that every child is an individual. I try my best to incorporate the child's interests into the intervention plan. Thinking of new and unique ways to help each of my patients brings me great joy. I believe that helping the child develop motivation to learn is half the job done!
