Hello! Thank you for visiting my store! My name is Rose. I am an ASHA-certified speech pathologist, with 25+ years of experience. I have practiced in a variety of settings including public and private schools and clinics, with children ranging from pre-k to grade 12. Currently, I work in a private school for students with dyslexia and language-based learning disabilities. We are one of the only Orton -Gillingham accredited schools in the United States. I have been blogging since 2011 about all things related to food and speech/language therapy. I have combined my passion for my profession with my love of cooking and nutrition to create fun, engaging speech-language therapy materials. My games and activities are inspired by foods that can be made at home (and sometimes in the school setting) to address sequencing, direction following, executive functioning skills, social skills, and critical thinking. The downloads include a collectible recipe card along with a speech and/or language activity that corresponds with the recipe post found on my website www.speechsnacks.com Have fun Cooking Up Good Speech and Language with a side of SpeechSnacks!
