ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Hello, I am a graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a B. S. in Early Childhood Education and an Educational Technology Minor. I have both a Pennsylvania Early Childhood Education (P-4) degree and a Georgia Early Childhood Educator (P-5) degree. I enjoy working with new technology in the classroom and sharing my love of learning with others. I just finished my first year of teaching! I taught First Grade at Sue Reynolds Elementary School and absolutely loved it. I am currently teaching in the Philadelphia School District! I have also worked at an on-campus Child Care Center as an Assistant Group Supervisor and Preschool Teacher for 5 years, student taught in a third grade classroom, and enjoyed my position as a camp counselor for a 5th Grade Outdoor Education Program. I have also enjoyed working as a STARS Program Teacher for the Boys and Girls Club of Augusta for children ranging from 1st through 8th grade and I am currently enjoying teaching 3rd, 7th, and 8th Grades at summer camp. I am very passionate about teaching and enjoy everything from glittery tea party, princess dress-up parades to sporty, lego building, science-experimenting extravaganza! I also enjoy jogging, swimming, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. My favorite color is fuchsia and I love cupcakes!
