TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello, my name is Isaac Stahl, I have worked as a preschool enrichment teacher in the Seattle area for four years. I enjoy teaching students a range of skills especially gardening, nutrition, Spanish, and yoga. In addition to my work as a teacher I constantly strive to create a healthy, enriching, and sustainable learning environment for the students I work with. I do this through writing garden songs, grants for new play equipment, and composting/ recycling programs at my school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am particularly focused on preschool nutrition education through gardening. To aid me in this endeavor, I created a band named Squash Squash oh my Gosh and recorded a rock and roll album entitled Seeds, Songs, and Soil. This album teaches kids all about the world of gardening and nutrition through songs about worms, planting seeds, plant care, and much more. I even sneak in a little cucumber based math. I now want to share my music with the world! Please visit squashohmygosh.com for more information.
