I have been a public school teacher in Iowa since 2011. I've taught Spanish both at the middle and high school levels. I also hold an endorsement in Michigan, where I completed my undergrad and student teaching. While in Michigan, in addition to Spanish I also taught a beginner's level writing course (at the university level) and American Literature.

I have my Masters of Education in World Language Instruction through Concordia College and I have taken Spanish graduate courses at multiple institutions. I also hold a K-12 Talented and Gifted Endorsement through Morningside College. I hold my BA in Secondary Education for Spanish, English, and Communications through Western Michigan University where I was a Lee College Honors Member and President of Kappa Delta Pi. As an undergrad I studied at the Universidad de Burgos, Spain.
