I am in my third year of teaching junior high and high school Spanish in a small school in rural Illinois. At school and here on TPT, I always strive to put my best work forward. I greatly appreciate suggestions and feedback! :)
I truly believe in the power of a world language class to open up doors and minds for students. Cultural education is a very important aspect of my classroom. I also firmly believe in teaching for mastery through ongoing exposure to skills and concepts. The more variety and the more learning styles that can be incorporated, the better!
Graduated from my undergraduate program Summa Cum Laude. Member of Kappa Delta Pi: a national honors society in education, and Phi Delta Lambda: "an international honor society for graduates of Nazarene colleges and universities who have excelled in scholarship."
I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education (with a minor in Spanish) from Olivet Nazarene University in 2013. In the Spring of 2015, I will be going back to get my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction!
