Hello, I'm a mom to three young boys—a six-year-old and three-year-old twins. For over six years, I've been blogging and writing about how children learn, parenting and family life.
I practice a "growth mindset" philosophy, where I teach my children that effort, hard work and strategy is what leads to growth and achievement. I embrace mistakes as learning moments rather than something to avoid or feel ashamed of. I also encourage learning in a fun and relaxed manner. I believe children learn best when they're given plenty of down time to tinker and explore on their own agenda. And I want them to see learning as a positive experience they'll take with them through adulthood.
