ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

After working as a graphic designer, I went back to school to become a teacher. I started teaching English and Yearbook to students in an inner-city school undergoing a successful turnaround. I helped develop an early college program there and served as the dual-enrollment mentor for students. After 7 years in the classroom, I transitioned into the library media center at a large, diverse high school.
