TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my fourth year of teaching. I am currently a special education teacher who works with students in third grade and fifth grade in Maryland. I was a cross-categorical special education teacher for students in kindergarten through third grade in Ohio for the first two years of my career.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use different co-teaching models with general education teachers as well as small group instruction. I love to create and use hands-on activities that keep students engaged in the learning process.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in education from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) in 2010. I am licensed as a K-12 Mild-Moderate Intervention Specialist in Ohio and as a Special Education Teacher for grades 1-8 in Maryland.
