TEACHING EXPERIENCE

9 years teaching high school math and science. Precalculus, calculus, physics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, anatomy, earth science, and physical science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Kids can learn concepts without caring about them. This is bad and doesn't foster a love of lifelong learning. My materials seek to motivate kids by genuinely getting them interested in the content. The road to this is through conceptual mastery. If a student truly understands the basic concept behind what they're learning, they're more motivated, more capable, and more likely to retain what they've learned.

I spent 3 years in public school education and another 6 years at a private Christian school. I had a particular knack for taking kids who hated science and math and turning them around to being students who cared about these subjects again.
