TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since the year 2000 I have taught K-9 art and drawing skills. Most of my experience has been in the public school system but I have taught Homeschool,Adult Education and Teacher Professional Development as well. I have developed a drawing program that helps the learner gain confidence in learning how to draw. I have written 3 "How To Draw" art books as well as numerous lesson plan ideas.

I am a Bachelor of Arts Graduate from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I also hold a Graphic Design Certificate. I am a professional photographer and attend numerous seminars each year.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In addition to teaching drawing skills I also teach water colour painting, pastels and charcoal. I have taught photography to both adults and children. I work with our local Brain Injury association as well as with children with special needs to teach art and photography. I have also illustrated several books for kids and educational posters.
