TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught at both public and private high schools for over 10 years. I have also taught at a basic English class at a community college for 5 years. Currently, I teach English at an inner city school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that teaching students to read is like teaching a child to swim. Each time you convince a child swimmer to come toward you, you move a bit further back encouraging the child to move even further. Then at the end, you can both look back and see how far you have come.
