This homework is a great follow-up practice for compound sentences. I would use this after the students have memorized the different conjunctions because there isn't a word bank.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I worked with 2nd grade general education and special education for one year, then moved on to teach first grade for one year. Now I'm back with second graders in a high poverty area with one of the highest ELL populations in our country. I love making materials that can differentiate my instruction and challenge my students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Whole-brain teaching with a focus on hands on learning.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

One of my favorite things to make for my class is the "write the room" or "math the room" activities. They love them, I love them, and TpT has an abundance of pre-designed activities! My goal is to make some of my own write and math the room packets this summer!
