Although I do not have a lot of experience, I do have all of the most up to date evidence based practices influencing every lesson plan I make. As well as all of the lessons having been critiqued by professors holding doctorates in the field of education. I have taught in a Pre-K setting for 2 years now and I am also currently enrolled in California University of Pennsylvania, a renowned school of education in Pennsylvania. I am a junior with a 3.9 GPA. Overall, I've had 2 and a half years of field experience during my educational career and 2 years of working in a Pre-K setting at a Keystone Stars daycare/preschool. I have taught in 7th and 8th grade classes for my field experiences and well as worked with special education students.
I believe in a hands on learning experience for the students. When children can actively engage in their own learning they are more apt to enjoy it and remember the things they are being taught. I also believe that the students should be active participants in their learning and we as teachers should act a facilitators.
Because of my academic acheivement and outstanding grades, I have been awarded many scholarships towards my schooling which is helping me to further my education.
As I previously stated I am currently a student at California University of Pennsylvania. I am a junior with a GPA of 3.9 and I will be graduating a year and a half early. I then plan to get my masters degree in education to further my learning and knowledge of children.
I am a very creative and enhusiatic teacher. I love kids and I love being able to help them learn and grow. I can remember some of my teachers that really made an impact in my life and I hope to do that for my students. Hopefully these lessons can help you to do that with your students as well.
