Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology; 28 years public school classroom instruction as guest speaker/lecturer; 2 years experience with homeschool science, biology, and math instruction. Over 2,000 hours total classroom experience. Have taught workshops and worked closely with public educators on several science-related projects over the years. The "Weather Wits" books are now used as supplemental science resources in some north Texas public schools and by scattered home-schoolers nationwide.
