MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to make activities seem more like playing and less like "learning". I even love to develop content review games for adults!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

- Hi! I'm a mom of an extremely energetic early elementary-aged daughter, a wife, writer and animal lover. - My daughter also happens to have ADHD with learning disabilities and severe memory deficits, so I spend oodles of time getting creative in helping her hammer out basic skills to minimize her academic difficulties. - I am also a licensed psychologist with a love of teaching and writing. When my daughter was born, I left the clinical life behind. - For seven years I taught psychology online at the college level, but resigned from that after COVID lockdown when it became crystal clear that my daughter needed more of my attention. I have written three self-help books related to health, and now I am focused almost exclusively on making learning materials that help kids like my daughter, as well as high school and college students. - When my daughter was preparing for Kindergarten, I taught a great group of third grade homeschooled kids science for one day per week of classroom learning. I used TPT for so many lessons and love the resources I've gotten!
