I am a UK trained science teacher who has worked in 3 different schools over my career. I have worked in pastoral and academically challenging environments. I have educated in an AP Academy (alternative provisions) providing a science curriculum to the students that was accessible, educational and interesting. The content had to be differentiated to meet the varying needs and requirements of the pupils. A very worthwhile experience. I have also spent a period of time working in a girls grammar school where I taught Biology and Chemistry to some of the brightest young minds in the country, allowing to the fulfill and exceed their potential. I worked closely with one of the most experienced chemistry departments within the consortium, gaining some invaluable advice and wisdom on how to get the most out of pupils in lessons. I am currently working in a secondary school in the heart of Hertfordshire. I have been working here for 4 years and have been deputising a successful science faculty for the last 2 years. I find myself as a leader her, drawing on all my experiences elsewhere to calve a bright future out for the students I teach.
My teaching practice uses engaging pedagogical approaches that stimulates all pupils minds. No child gets left behind.
