I student taught in a gifted 8th grade classroom setting while at the University of Georgia. I am now on a mixed team of ELL and High Achiever learners. This is my third year teaching 6th Grade Earth Science.
My goal is to be structured, but engaging. I try to make as many hands-on activities as possible. I like to connect as many principals together as possible. Remembering, "middle schoolers are like an oven not a microwave. They need slow and steady, not a zap.", is key!

Science is my passion. I believe I have succeeded if I can encourage students to love and cherish our precious environment, love it well, and love others well.
