I have 34 years teaching experience in public and private schools, both here and abroad. I have taught regular and special education and served as a Reading Specialist, ESL teacher and Gifted/Talented teacher. I have taught both elementary remedial math and reading, along with enrichment drama, creative writing and comparative cultures for over 25 summers. Although retired from formal teaching, I am a private tutor and professional writer.
I believe that education should be engaging. My strengths are enthusiasm, creativity, and differentiation. My strongest interests are in the language arts areas.
