I have taught grades K-2, for twenty three years! What a ride! I hope you will be able to use TPT. If so, you may find it will save you time for your own family as welll as make your teaching prep-EZ! I loved using it for my own classroom - I hope you will love it too!
Creative activities that make learning fun and inviting. Give students hands on projects, they'll love it!
Yet to be added
In addition to my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, I also have a degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design. Artwork was actually my first career. During my teaching career, I integrated lots of lessons with drawing in some form or another. I could never seem to get away from adding to worksheets or making them myself. Just another reason I am enjoying TPT, I finally have the time to make the handouts and worksheets like I would have wanted. Now, I have the opportunity to do this all the time-I love it!
At the present time, I paint quite a bit (watercolors and acrylics). I still like to incorporate art in my handouts and worksheets. Just like you, when I was in the classroom I created many of my own worksheets and tests. I always wished I'd had more time for these things but as you know it is a luxury to find the time to "spruce up" your room. I hope you will use my products to highlight your students' work as well as make your classroom really engaging and show off that classwork.
