TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught 3rd grade for 3.5 years with an amazing team that shared ideas. Then I went to a Montessori school where I learned how to better differentiate the classroom and set up centers better.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to do lots of hands on activities and games. I believe kids learn through doing!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received the "Apple for the Teacher" award from a local newspaper.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a dual degree in eary childhood and elementary education. I studied ASL all through College, and I'm fluent in Spanish. I'm working on my elementary math endorsement, and hope to get my level 2 math endorsement soon after as well. I have an ESL endorsement as well.

I also love to be outside in nature doing lots of different things from hiking to camping and biking to swimming. I'm married with one child and I'm working part time to have more time with my baby boy.
