Before earning my teaching degree, I worked as a paraprofessional in special education classrooms and regular ed. classrooms. I have taught third grade and currently teaching second grade.
Students work in collaborative pairs. Lessons are differentiated on levels according to students learning abilities and profiles. I use content related task cards, read/write the room activities to assess student learning.
Increasing student performance on benchmark assessments: special education students showing academic growth comparable to regular education students. Test scores showing most growth out of grade level.
I earned my teaching degree through Western Governors University. I am currently enrolled in a Masters degree program through Walden University.
I'm usually in doing one of two things. My life revolves around my family. I love and adore them. If I am not with my family then you will find me in my classroom--teaching, cleaning, or decorating.
