I have taught students as young as the 2nd grade to as old as adults in college level classes. I have taught in a K-8 school, a high school, a junior college, and a university. I have more than 20 years of teaching experience, and have developed math and science curricula at the junior high level, and physics and AP Physics curricula at the high school level. One of my strengths is developing new ways to deliver learning. I also have been around long enough to know what students struggle with in math and science.
I love to have the students involved in class. I strive for at least one hands-on activity per class period. I believe in giving a little information and then having the students process it by doing activities. My class is lively and I try to engage the students as much as possible. I try to get them to connect their passions with the content they are learning in some form.
