By Surfin' Through Second Aloha! I have been teaching for 24 years, with the past 18 years in 2nd grade. I have worked with a diverse population of learners over the years, and have taught in 4 different states. My teaching adventures have landed me here on the island of Oahu! Mahalo for stopping by my store.
My activites reflect my teaching style. I love to integrate themes throughout the year and do as much hands on learning as possible. Literacy and math centers along with guided reading groups are important components of my classroom.

I attended the University of Northern Colorado for my BA in Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Education at the University of Berkeley California
I am the mother of 2 daughters who teach me new things everyday. I am fortunate to work in a beautiful school on the North Shore of Oahu.
