TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught mild/moderate resource k-6 for 4 years. I am currently working as an interventionist with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. I have been teaching struggling readers strategies to help make them better readers for the past 6 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Because I love reading, it is my desire to guide students through the process of over coming reading difficulties to develop a passion for reading! I teach small groups and lead group discussions, provide hands on experiences to tie books to real life, deliver positive feed back and motive my students to keep trying!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In addition to books, I also have a passion for cycling! I enjoy getting out doors, breathing fresh air, feeling a light breeze on my face and the sun on my back as I cruise down the road! I also like to spend time with my family whether it be a relaxing trip to Mexico or camping in Island Park.
