TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for the past sixteen years teaching at both the middle school and high school level. For the last ten years I have worked in an international school gaining experience in the French educational system as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. For the last five years I have taught in the IB Diploma Programme teaching history at both the standard and higher level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy creating and teaching lessons that utilize the multiple intelligence's in order to reach all of my students. On a daily basis I try to ensure that my lessons are differentiated with a seeing, hearing, and doing component to keep students engaged. I also incorporate activities that will help students build critical thinking/analytical skills as well as reading and writing skills.
