TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 11th year as an educator. I have my MEd in English Education and my National Board Certification in ELA. In addition to teaching high school students, I also teach Freshmen Composition at Campbell University.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe the classroom is a living laboratory designed to prepare students for real world situations. I do not lecture. My students work in groups, play games, participate in Paideia seminars and complete hands on activities so that learning is both authentic and fun.
