I graduated from Murmansk Arctic State University in 2000. I've been working as a teacher for more than 14 years. I like to read about schools in Alaska and Norway because the weather conditions are similar. I live beyond the Polar Circle and dare to say that harsh weather conditions have a certain effect on children and the process of education.
I like using mnemonics and rhymes to lessen the burden of information. Our northern kids get tired quickly, and the issue of overloading them with educational information is rather acute. Information that is encoded in rhymes is easier to perceive and remember.

I have worked in different schools in Murmansk. At the moment I am working at the school that is situated near Severomorsk.
I have a twin who is a translator. My mother discovers oil and natural gas deposits in Siberia and in the Arctic region. My son Yura studies in Moscow.
