I worked as a primary school class teacher, learning support teacher and Assistant Principal in a Cork city school. Teachers from other schools visited my classroom to view my methodology and to see this Tables Teacher Program in operation. I spoke at various teacher conferences and meetings on different aspects of education.
My teaching style suited the pupils in my care. It included group, individual, class teaching and assistance to other teachers in their classrooms.
The Irish diploma in education and an MA (HOns) degree from the University of the West of England using an Action Research approach.
National and Secondary School in Cork County and third level education in Dublin and the UK.
My area of expertise is having an uncanny ability to know what is right for each pupil. I am Irish, creative, imaginative and a doer with strong interpersonal intelligence and contribute my best efforts in all situations. I have worked with children in a one to one situation, in groups, as a team and shared teacher and as a class teacher. Teachers from other schools visited my department to see my teaching methods and Tables Teacher programme in operation. Colleagues and teachers from other schools have endorsed Tables Teacher. I have co-edited three maths books which were successfully sold in Ireland. • Along with my primary degree, I have acquired a Master’s in Education from the University of the West of England, working through an Action Research approach. I feel I am ideally qualified to write these books because I have already applied their contents to the children in my care, bringing extraordinary recognised degrees of success to them. External tests were available throughout my teaching career. I am retired from active teaching and spend a lot of my time working on the preparation of this Workshop. Along with this pursuit I am actively engaged in a farming business with my husband
