I have been a high school science educator for many years now. Most of my focus has been working with freshman students teaching year long Physical Science and junior and senior students in a year long Anatomy and Physiology course. I have also taught semester long Ecology courses as well to upper classman. I love my job and love what I do! Science is a big passion of mine and I believe that shows in my work and quality of lesson plans and labs that I write up and use.
I am a very hands on active teacher. I love to engage my students in interactive labs, lecture with various models and demonstrations and engage my students in science instead of just them sitting back in learning about it. I feel that it's better for my classroom to be doing science not just learning science as we work our way through the material.

I love teaching each and ever day that I come into school. I enjoy the excitement I see in my students eyes when they finally understand a new scientific concept and the enjoyment they get while they are working on one of the interactive labs I have designed for them. Science is my passion and teaching is my life and love sharing those things with my students and coworkers each and every day.
