TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently teach Environmental and Earth Sciences at an urban high school in Erie, Pennsylvania. I have taught several years in middle school classrooms - 5th through 8th grade science, 7th and 8th grade English/Language Arts, and 8th grade Social Studies. MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is hands-on and student-centered, and I regularly incorporate authentic learning activities and assessments into daily activities. My instructional resources are based on national standards -- NGSS, Common Core -- and are designed to put learning in students hands.
