TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for 6 years now. I first taught ESL to Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th graders in Memphis, TN through Teach For America. I've taught 1st grade for 3 years and this year I'll be moving up and teaching 2nd grade. I've learned that lower elementary is definitely the place to be!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love having my students work with hands on materials and manipulating as they are making meaning with different concepts. I use a workstation approach and emphasize small group learning.
