TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for more than 20 years. I've had the opportunity to teach in middle school and elementary--with the majority of my teaching experience in elementary. I am currently teaching third grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a research based, standards driven type of teacher. I love parent involvement in the classroom and look for opportunities to engage them in their children's education early and often!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received my National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist in 2011.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I'm a graduate of Bob Jones University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I've been married to my wonderful husband Chris. We enjoy traveling, reading on our Kindles and cuddling! :)
