TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was in the classroom for 9 years. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. I also taught 3rd - 5th grade summer school classes. I have done private tutoring for K-5. I am currently a learning coach for my district so I am working with teachers. I do their professional development, model lessons in thier classrooms, co-planning, data dialog, etc.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love hands on learning and high engagement. I believe that everything being rigor and relevance are very important in teaching. I also believe that every child can learn and grow, you may just have to figure out the way they learn best to reach them.
