This is my thirteenth year teaching middle school in rural Alabama. I have taught seventh and eighth grade math and exploratory. Also, I am a leader and mentor of a small group that focuses on promoting positive relationships between grade levels while strengthening school pride.
I implement a mix of independent, partner and small group work.

Also, I have my National Board Certification in Early Adolescence (ages 11-15), Mathematics.
I am very passionate about my job and come from a long line of educators. I am constantly setting goals to improve in my classroom. Josh and I have been happily married for five years. We love to travel and spend time with family and friends!
