TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 1st grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I have looped in the past from 4th to 5th, and really enjoyed it. I currently teach at a Title I school and absolutely love it. There's nowhere else I would rather be! I am also licensed to teach 6-9 history and social studies.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My students enjoy project based learning, so we do that quite a bit. We also incorporate a lot of technology into our everyday lessons.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Alice and my fiance, Michael and his children, Zoey and Chase. We love taking our camper out for weekend adventures, swimming, kayaking, four wheeling, and dining outside whenever possible! I also love to write, including children's books and blogging. Watching my little one grow makes me appreciate education even more than just teaching. It is amazing to see any child progress and learn something new each day. That being said, since the birth of my daughter, my motto has been "Don't reinvent the wheel!" So I stumbled upon TPT and decided that obviously others feel the same!
