I started taking voice lessons my junior year of high school, and now hold a BM in Vocal Performance with a minor in Theatre from Pacific Lutheran University. I have taken piano lessons since the age of 6, and started out using the Suzuki method, which is what I now use to teach my young beginning students.
I strive to create a fun, encouraging environment for my students to learn and explore! I hope these lessons leave every student feeling empowered to create, confident in their abilities, and excited about music. I believe in cultivating well-rounded musicians. This means our lessons will include aspects of ear training (listening), music theory, musicality, and expression.

I teach out of my home studio in Puyallup, Washington, as well as a local community theatre in Tacoma. In addition to teaching, I love to perform in musicals, and hope to create a career out of it someday in the near future!
