TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a professionally registered engineer with 27 years experience in process design activities, process optimization, equipment design, project / process coordination, and Quality Management (ISO-9001) coordination for petroleum, manufacturing, and chemical projects. I had been involved with all the phases of project execution, from the initial phase of Conceptual Design thru Detail Design and Construction, in national and international projects. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian. At the moment, I left my last position, to launch my own consulting business to educate, train and coach the new generation of engineers.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As a part of my company social services ( probono), I helped my church/school with: Developing the STEAM program, Assessing the sustainability of the school, Supporting the Grant effort as needed. I am a strong believer of Education. On my services to my Church, I was able to introduce the kids to hands on learning STEM activities formatted as an Engineering project. Teaching the kids to face every project or activity with the same structure we use in engineering was very useful. We all use that structure thinking in everything we do, without even noticing it. We research, plan, execute, construct, test and learn that lesson for the next time. I am a STEM advocate, and I feel that I had been given and have learned so much from the Greenville Engineering community that I want to give back.
