TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a first year third grade teacher. Before accepting my job at my current school, I student taught in 4k, kindergarten, first grade and third grade. I am also an in home care provider for the cutest 7 year old who just happens to have Downs Syndrome. I work with him in each subject and also do some therapeutic activities to strengthen his muscles and speech.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a first year teacher, I am still in the process of figuring out what kind of teacher I am. I am big into relationships, whole brain teaching, flexible seating, inquiry - I am always open and excited to try new things! My goal for this year, and every day, is that my students and I not only survive our year in third grade, but we thrive as learners and people!
