I have worked for a year as an Educational Aide Paraprofessional in a classroom of 14 children with all different learning disabilities. I have been in the education system for a very long time. This is the first time I have got to use my ideas and helped out our teacher.

I was a Board of Education member for 8 years with many accomplishments in the Special Education Department in our school system. 2 years President
HS Graduate Attended Kent State University (I did not finish and Im ok with it for now) my degree would be in: Secondary Education in Integrated Mathematics also a minor in Psychology
My daughter is my inspiration! She is 17 yrs old and has Down Syndrome...She is now a Junior in HS and doing really well. She starts a work Cite program this year and is very excited for her future. Her education means everything to me. It has not always been easy so hopefully I can help teachers to make their jobs easier. I work in a Special Education resource room and my job is the teachers aide. I have come up with a lot of ideas for her and we use them everyday. I am also an aide to a young boy with Down Syndrome and understand the many challenges he is going through.
