I have taught in elementary schools since 1996 as a bilingual classroom teacher K-5th ( have taught all grade levels) in English only and dual immersion language programs. I have also worked as a reading specialist and staff development specialist. I completed my my doctoral studies in curriculum and instruction specializing in second language learners. I have presented at conferences across the globe. I currently provide school district consulting.
