This is my third year teaching in a traditional classroom, though a lot of my instruction delivery has been done in a blended environment. My students are very accustomed to the use of technology! Before classroom teaching, I worked in the non-profit world for several years. I've been a naturalist (outdoor educator), camp director, tutor, ballroom dance instructor, and the manager of a community center youth department.
I'm fun, but I'm fair. I'm firm, but I'm gracious. I have high expectations, but they are completely achievable - and my students know it.
Yet to be added
I received my Bachelor's of Science in Parks & Recreation Management, with a minor in Music (I'm a classically trained singer!). I completed Rio Salado's Teacher in Residence program, so I'm a fully certified teacher in the state of Arizona.
I'm an open book! You can learn more about me here: https://teachblogtravel.com/about-me/
